Calendar of
Member-only Events

Tuesday morning programs meet in the auditorium in the Tulsa Garden Center mansion in Woodward Park, at 9:30 (meet and greet); business meetings and programs start at 10:00 a.m.

March Tea
3/11/25
"Art in the Garden" is the theme for our March tea, so the tablescapes and art displays will create a beautiful setting for our luncheon.
If you've paid your annual dues and you're planning to attend our first luncheon of the year, make sure you've signed up. Fortunately, if you didn't sign up at February's meeting, it's not too late; just contact either Mary Roberts or Linda Callery to get your name on the list.
No need to sign up to bring a sweet or savory; just bring a finger food of your choice to share.

Plant Exchange
5/6/25
The plant exchange is always a great way to get inspiration for your garden and save money too.
If you bring plants (doesn't have to be herbs) to share with other THS members, then you can go home with plants they brought to share. It's a great way to try something new risk free!
Have some extra pots, garden tools, books, or garden art you no longer need? Then consider bringing them to our freebee table and let them find a new home with a fellow gardener.
Remember to avoid watering your plants shortly before the exchange so they don't leak.

Field Trip
5/13/25
We're headed to Stillwater to visit The Botanic Garden at OSU. There's a lot to see there, and you most likely will learn something new and helpful. Admission is free. Click here to get a glimpse of what you'll see. www.botanicgarden.okstate.edu
We'll have box lunches from Lambrusco's and find a lovely place to sit and eat, perhaps at the picnic tables at the OSU garden.
Before heading back to Tulsa, we'll stop at Bustani Plant Farm, also in Stillwater, and Steph's Garden where you may find perennials, specialty plants, and native plants perfect for your own garden.

July Special Speaker Event
7/8/25
Our guest speaker on Tuesday morning is Steve Dobbs, a well-known horticulturist with over 40 years’ experience, will present to THS members will begin at 11:00. (His Monday evening program is open to both members and non-members and is on “Ornamental Edibles in the Landscape.” ) His Tuesday morning presentation is titled “Successful Container Gardening Tips and Tricks.” The annual member salad luncheon will follow the presentation. Beth Teel will coordinate members signing up to bring salad items for the lunch.

Local Field Trip 9/9/25
We'll be carpooling to Claremore. This will be a carpooling trip to the Rogers County Master Gardeners Teaching Gardens and the RSU Conservation Education Reserve. The Reserve is a 100-acre outdoor education facility adjoining the RSU campus. We will have speakers at both places. Lunch will be at the Pink House at the Belvedere Mansion, also in Claremore. Participants may want to stop at Green Valley Nursery on their way back to Tulsa.
Karen Betts and Rhonda Hicks are co-chairs.

Harvest Luncheon

This is always a festive, fun, and delicious luncheon to accompany our October program. Open to all THS members. Details to follow.
