Exploring the World of Herbs

Our Mission
The object of the non-profit Tulsa Herb Society is to foster the study, appreciation, culture, and history of herbs. Activities include--but are not limited to--teaching, providing information for visitors, and planning workshops and programs open to the public.

Learning about Herbs
Explore the diverse world of herbs while gaining knowledge about sustainable gardening practices. Learn about the "herb-of-the-month" and tips about planting, harvesting, preserving herbs and cooking with herbs. Learn about the benefits of various herbs and how to use them in your daily life. Join us in our educational programs to enhance your gardening skills and knowledge of herbs.
Calendar and Special Events
Join us for Carols and Crumpets on the first Saturday in December, when the spirit of the season comes alive at our festive Christmas market. Enjoy delightful treats, unique gifts, and a warm, cheerful atmosphere. Then, don’t miss Springfest in April, featuring vibrant booths filled with plants, whimsical yard art, and opportunities to learn about the various Tulsa Garden Center affiliates.

Giving to Our Community
The Tulsa Herb Society is dedicated to not only educating people about herbs and gardening but also uplifting our local Oklahoma communities. We proudly raise funds for organizations like the Tulsa Garden Center, A New Leaf, The Tulsa Botanic Garden, and Global Gardens, ensuring that our efforts have a lasting community impact. Please join us in supporting these great causes.
Join us for our educational meetings on the second Tuesday of designated months (see calendar) at the Tulsa Garden Center, located in the mansion at 2435 S. Peoria Ave. in Woodward Park (21st and Peoria). Enjoy engaging guest speakers, learn about the herb-of-the-month, and connect with fellow home gardeners. We look forward to sharing knowledge and fostering a love for gardening together.
