Upcoming Events
for the Community

Tuesday morning programs meet in the auditorium in the Tulsa Garden Center mansion in Woodward Park, at 9:45 (meet and greet); programs start at 11:00 a.m.; business meeting begins at 10:00. All community events are free to attend.

Second Tuesday Programs
Join us for educational programs designed to enrich our local community, held on the second Tuesday of select months throughout the year. In addition, don't miss our exciting special events: Springfest in April, a summer speaker series in July, and the delightful Carols & Crumpets Christmas Market on the first Saturday of December. Check back often to see new events and speakers coming up.

January 13
The January business/program meeting will begin at 10:00 in the TGC auditorium, so arrive around 9:40 a.m. to get name tags, choose a place to sit, and chat with other “herbies.” After the business meeting will be a brief break, and then the presentation will be at 11:00 and led by Kat Robinson from Robinson Ranch in Bixby. Their website describes Robinson Ranch as a female-run farm, and their mission is to “make our bodies and our community healthier through food and encouragement.” Also look for sign-up sheets for hosting tables, decorating, and bringing food for the March Tea (members only) on Tuesday, March 10.

February 10
LithicRoots is a local farm that specializes in herbs and spices that are available as fresh starts, dried herbs, and infusions---such as infused honey. These herbs and spices are used in their salves, tinctures, balms, spice blends, soap, tea, vinegars, and other products. As the owner of LithicRoots, Michelle Winsor, says "Each small-batch infusion ... is a living expression of plant medicine in its most delicious form."
Join us for a morning of herbal information from an expert in the field---Michelle Winsor herself. The herb-of-the-month and business meeting begin at 10:00 in the TGC auditorium, followed by a brief intermission at 11:00 before the presentation.

Delight in the wide range of decorative yard art, flowers, veggies, and herbs to start your spring gardens and spruce up your home. Our vendors will be ready to help you find just what you need at our annual Springfest held on the lawn near the barn. This day is always enjoyable for dogs and their pet parents.
Step inside the barn and visit with knowledgeable gardeners with information on orchids, lilies, herbs, vegetables, and other specialty organizations. And don't forget to visit the teaching garden on the north and east sides just outside the barn.
"Stay rooted, stay growing, and don’t forget—life’s better with a little dirt under your nails."

Her herb passion runs deep, with 25+ varieties growing in her garden.
Laura Koval – AbleVeg
